So the week of Heart Surgery was upon us.
Dropped out the engine one weekend, cleaned up the engine bay, replaced damage and worn out parts and the next weekend had the new engine and gearbox in.!
Here's a bullet list of what's happened:
- Dropped out Auto box and engine
- Changed over gear linkages to manual ones
- Changed over steering rack (This one was clicky for some reason)
- Degreased engine bay (Used a Citrus cleaner, worked really well!!)
- Chopped apart the loom, and removed unneeded plugs and wires
- Mounted fuse/relay boxes in the guard. Out of site.
- Attached a 6-Speed gearbox to the worked engine
- Dropped it in the Car, and bolted it all up
- Moved some more wiring, relocated coil out of site
- Nolathaned sway-bar bushes, and installed the New links
