Next project..

So have been thinking over what could i do next to the 4AGE..
And have come to the conclusion that i want to put some smallport pistons in.
These will bump the compression from 11. to 12.1.
By doing this i should be able to get some gains over the whole power range.

For example here.
Green being 12.1 CR
Red being 11.1 CR

So know the hunt is on for some Smallport pistons.!
And because the engine was rebuilt not that long ago, all i have to do is remove the old pistons and replace with the smallport versions. (as hone marks are still visible in block)

3D Printed Trumpets R2.

So after the first run of 50mm trumpets failed. (One was needed to be trimmed to clear the box, but after all this they still all broke as part of it was only 1mm)

So we designed a second batch of 40mm trumpets with a 3mm thick wall.

With the help of a mates 3D Printer and solidworks expertise these were finished off in the weekend and installed.!
One was designed specifically to clear the box, otherwise it would of needed to be trimmed.
They came out really nice, and do there job perfectly!
