Space head..

So along with some guard modification, i thought id try on some spacers that i had laying around.
I use to run these on the Rear with the old rims, so had a set of shortened studs to suit also.
So pulled it all apart, switched the studs, and wacked it all back together.
Also put some 5mm packers on the rear.!

Oh Yea.. Exhaust time..

Oh and the other Saturday we did a full Exhaust system on the Rolla.
Full 2 1/4" system with 1 long resonator and a turbo flow muffler on the rear.
Even enlarged the exit of the extractors to 2 1/4"
But not super happy with the sound, has bit of a harsh raspyness at around 3500rpm.
So will probably end up putting a 2nd resonator in.!

But it works for now, and definitely feels like its improved the performance, with bit more pull in the top rpm's.!

Now to DYNO it and get it running mint and lay down some Power runs... :D

Body-work.

So after seeing this WRX back in one of the issues of Performance Car, and on the Speedhunters site, i really liked what he has done with the front guards.

Using standard guards, but to make it look a little more wide-body.

So what did i do...?

Since i had 2 spare guards, i decided why not..
So took to it with a angle-grinder/Hacksaw/Drill and rivet gun, and got this outcome..

Drift-Spec Guards V1

Comfort.

Comfort is key! The seats in the old Rolla were a little tidier than the ones in the new.
So i decided to make 2 good ones out of the 4.
I went and used the bases of the Passenger seats as these are not as worn as the drivers seat, and then used a drivers side back for the passenger seat so they would have Lumbar support adjustability too.!

Oh and also thought i would paint the brake callipers white, just to see what it looks like. And im thinking it actually looks ok...
