Perfection..

Well the Rolla is pretty much all back together.
Went for a few more drives to really bed the piston rings in.

Heart Surgery..

So the week of Heart Surgery was upon us.

Dropped out the engine one weekend, cleaned up the engine bay, replaced damage and worn out parts and the next weekend had the new engine and gearbox in.!

Here's a bullet list of what's happened:

• Dropped out Auto box and engine
• Changed over gear linkages to manual ones
• Changed over steering rack (This one was clicky for some reason)
• Degreased engine bay (Used a Citrus cleaner, worked really well!!)
• Chopped apart the loom, and removed unneeded plugs and wires
• Mounted fuse/relay boxes in the guard. Out of site.
• Attached a 6-Speed gearbox to the worked engine
• Dropped it in the Car, and bolted it all up
• Moved some more wiring, relocated coil out of site
• Nolathaned sway-bar bushes, and installed the New links

Finally...

After a lontime trying to get these indicators, i finally aquired some.!

Thanks to a kind dude over in South Africa who sent them over for me, in exchange for some Badges from a Fx-Gt here in New Zealand.

And man do they look good.!
This thing is looking better every day.!!



Oh and a 6-speed gearbox could be in the pipeline... Stay Tuned.!

Engine make-over

Time for the New pistons to go in!

Engine was stripped down, and all degreased and tidied up.
And then pieced back together, with the new Rings and Pistons installed at the same time.
