New lease of Life!

With the Rolla being driven daily it started to clock up the km's.
With a reading of 311,540km's i thought it was time to do something.

Ideas of swapping in a 20v Blacktop or Turboing the standard engine came up, but were a little far fetched. Money was a bit limiting so decided to do a full rebuild instead.
Although the other ideas could pop up somewhere down the track..

So seeing as i still had a 4age sitting in the shed originally from this car i took it into the engine Rebuilders and within a few days it was all ready to go.
Picked up the engine on a Thursday afternoon and spent the evening and Friday dropping the old engine out of the Rolla and bolting up all the bits and pieces to the freshly rebuilt engine.

Saturday morning came along and we had the engine in and running.!
A few minor issues came along like the Dizzy leaking oil as the seal was broken. Once these issues were fixed it was good to go.
Run in time!!

Ran the engine a few trips to town, and it was already feeling like it just wanted to rev!

Once all run in, the rocker covers were taken off and given a powder coat of Red, and i also got the lettering machined back.

New oil and filter and good to go.
