The Beginning!

Hi All. First post, thinking i will just chuck up some pictures and some details of what's happened to the "Rolla" and how it got its name.

Well first off, i got a Automatic 1989 Toyota corolla Fx-Gt that had a good body and interior but a stuffed Gearbox and tired engine.
A couple days later a phone call..
The local wrecker had just got in a 1988 Toyota corolla Fx-Gt..
This one had a bad body and had been in a crash that wrecked the right rear strut and arms.
BUT the Engine & Gearbox were in good nic, and it was an manual! WOOT

So the transfer began!

As we don't have a Hoist the alternative was to strap it to the roof and pull it up and let the Engine/Gearbox and sub frame drop out the bottom.

Now to transfer it all over, with a cut in the firewall for the clutch and running all the manual linkages.

So know it was running, and doing the route back and forth from school.
This is about when it got the name the "Rolla"

But that was just the Beginning! There were still alot of great things to come!!
